A violent kidnapping attempt targeting the family of a cryptocurrency executive in Paris was thwarted after a fierce struggle. Masked assailants attempted to abduct the executive’s daughter and grandson near their vehicle in the 11th arrondissement, but fled empty-handed when the family resisted.
The attack, captured on video by a bystander, reflects a growing trend of crypto-related crimes in France. Three men emerged from a WHITE van during the morning assault, striking the husband repeatedly as he defended his family. The wife reportedly disarmed one attacker during the confrontation.
